Okakura Shioya is a liar. Not much is really known about him due to the fact that he was able to send different transcripts of his backstory to those who tried to look. His true nature was revealed, however, when he broke Kibiki's eye.
His arrival in the channel revealed that he was the host for Wana, the elemental of traps. He spoke under a kinder, more gentle persona in order to gain trust from the humans. Okakura hasn't shown up in the channel since Guutto killed him in battle.
